Day 1: Cairo

Departure according to the arranged flights to Cairo.

Arrival to Cairo Airport, transfer to the hotel and overnight in Cairo.

Day 2: Cairo

After breakfast, you will be able to enjoy a full day trip to the Pyramids of Guizeh, Keops, Kefren and Mykerinos, as well as visit the Sphinx and the valley Temple of Kefren and Papyrus centre.

In the evening, there is an optional excursion to Memphis, the capital of the old empire, and the Necropolis of Saqqara.

Day 3: Cairo

Optional excursion to the city of Cairo, including the Pharaonic Art Museum, the Copto District to visit Saint Segio’s Church -where the Holy family took refuge after fleeing from Herodes-, the Saladin Citadel, the Mosques of Mohamed and the well-known Ali Alabaster Mosque. The journey will finish with a stroll through the Medieval District of Khan El Kalili.

Return to the hotel, dinner and overnight stay in Cairo.

Day 4: Cairo-Bahareya (345 Km)

After breakfast, departure from Cairo by the western desert towards the Oases of Bahareya, arriving there at noon.

Check in at the hotel.

In the evening, local tour by the palm groves and the different fields and thermal sources finishing in the black desert.

Dinner and overnight stay at Hot Spring International Hotel.

Day 5: Bahareya -White Desert (200 km)

Visit to the archaeological surroundings, the Valley of the Mummies and some tombs amongst the open ones of the high civil employees of this locality. Journey by 4×4 towards the White Desert and picnic lunch in the small oasis of Hayez.

The journey will continue towards the White Desert, enjoying the sand dunes and the silence of the huge desert while witnessing the amazing sunset view and having an overnight camping stay. Night in a tent set up in the White Desert where a hot dinner is prepared.

We will enjoy one night under the stars.

Day 6: White Desert –Farafra-Dakhla

After a simple breakfast, transfer by minibus to continue the journey by highway towards the Oasis of Farafra, to visit the local museum. You will have the opportunity of bathing in one of the several local thermal sources. The journey will continue towards the well-known medieval Arab medina of “Al-Qasr”. Visit to the monumental set, and continue towards the town of Mout, capital of Dakhla.

Dinner and overnight stay in the hotel.

Day 7: Dakhla-Kharga

Transfer by minibus to the Oasis of Kharga. Arrival and visit to the monuments that belong to the different historical times, being the most remarkable ones the temple of Hibis –the only temple that dates from the pharaonic-Persian time constructed by Dario I (522 A.C.), and the Baghawat collective Christian Tombs.

After lunch, in the evening, free time to go for a stroll or optional bathing in one of the local thermal sources.

Dinner and overnight stay in a hotel in Kharga.

Day 8: Kharga-Luxor

Breakfast and visit to the archaeological Museum of Kharga. Afterwards, the journey will continue towards Luxor while visiting on its way the temple of El-Guewita.

Arrival to Luxor, boarding in a motor ship and lunch on board.

In the evening, visit to the huge temples of Karnak and Luxor.

Dinner and night stay on board.

Day 9: Luxor-Esna

Morning visit to the Necropolis of Thebes: Valley of the Kings, Deir the Medina, Funeral Temple of Ramses III -known by Madinet Habu- and panoramic of the Funeral Temple of Queen Hatshepsut, known by Deir El Bahari, and the Colossuses of Memnon.

Travel by air-conditioned car to Esna.

Arrival and dinner on board, in the boat in Esna.

Day 10: Esna-EDFU-Kom Ombo-Aswan

Sailing to Edfu after passing the sluice. When arriving at Edfu, visit to the Temple of Edfu dedicated to the God Horus. Morning visit to the Temple of Kom Ombo, dedicated to the Gods Sobek with the head shaped as a crocodile, and Haroeris, with a falcon head.

Sailing to Aswan, dinner and overnight stay on board.

Day 11: Aswan

Upon arrival to Aswan, excursion in falucca (or motorboat) on the Nile around the Elefantina Island, the Botanical Garden and the Agha Khan Mausoleum.

Dinner and overnight stay on board.

Day 12: Aswan-Cairo

Disembarkation after breakfast. Visit by bus to the Prey of Aswan, the Temple of Philae and the unfinished Obelisk. Optional trip to the Temples of Abu Simbel.

Return from Abu Simbel to Aswan, and connecting flight from Aswan to Cairo.

Transfer to the hotel, dinner and overnight stay in Cairo.

Day 13: Cairo

Free leisure day to explore the area, with the possibility of optional excursions to Alexandria, Oasis of Fayum, etc.

Day 14: Cairo

After breakfast, transfer to the airport to take your flight back home. End of our services.
