Day 1: Departure city – Guatemala
Departure flight to Guatemala.
Arrival to Guatemala airport, and transfer to the hotel for accommodation.
Day 2: Guatemala – Iximche – Atitlan Lake
After breakfast, we will visit the Guatemalan highlands. On the way, we will see the archaeological site of Iximche, ancient Mayan capital of the Kaqchikel kingdom. After the visit, we will continue towards Lake Atitlan, which Humboldt called the most beautiful in the world, with its three volcanoes and giving shelter to twelve indigenous people.

Day 3: Lake Atitlan (Chichicastenango)
After breakfast, an early morning departure to Chichicastenango, where every Thursday and Sunday is celebrated one of the most important indigenous markets in Latin America.
After the visit to the market, return to Lake Atitlan.

Day 4: Atitlan Lake – Santiago – Antigua
After breakfast, visit by public boat to the village of Santiago Atitlan, inhabited by the Tz’utujil indigenous people living from fishing and crafts, although they are better known as worshippers of a Maya-Catholic deity called Maximón. After the visit, return to Panajachel to take the vehicle to take us to Antigua. Mid-afternoon arrival and orientation tour of this colonial city declared a World Heritage Site. Walk through the Cathedral, the Central Plaza and other main monuments, as well as bookstores, restaurants, art galleries, etc.

Day 5: Antigua
After breakfast, leisure day to enjoy this beautiful colonial city and its people.

Day 6: Antigua – Tikal – Peten Area
In the morning, picnic breakfast and transfer to Guatemala airport, to take a flight to Flores. Departure to Tikal Park, the largest known of the Mayan cities, and undoubtedly the best example of classical Mayan culture.
Picnic lunch before a free afternoon to explore the area.

Day 7: Peten Area (Yaxha)
We will dedicate the morning to visit the archaeological site of Yaxha, the only place in Peten, besides Tikal, which has a “Twin Pyramid Complex”. The Mayan name of the city is seen in its emblem hieroglyph (representing the head of a parrot) and is read like Yax (green-blue), Ha (water) and its sacred lake.
After a picnic lunch, we will have free time in the afternoon to explore the area.

Day 8: Peten Area – Yaxchilan – Palenque
Picnic breakfast and very early departure to the border with Mexico.
Migratory processes and visit to the archaeological site of Yaxchilan.
Lunch time before continuing to Palenque.

Day 9: Palenque – Campeche
In the morning, visit to the archaeological site of Palenque, and tourist lunch menu.
In the afternoon, we will continue our journey towards Campeche, for a sightseeing tour.

Day 10: Campeche – Uxmal – Merida
After breakfast and on the way to Merida, we will stop at the archaeological site of Uxmal. Upon our arrival to Merida, there we will enjoy our tour.
Free time to explore the area for the rest of the day.

Day 11: Merida – Chichen Itza – Riviera Maya
Departure to Chichen Itza, the best known of the Mayan archaeological sites.
After lunch, free time to take a dip in a typical Cenote.
The journey will continue to Riviera Maya.

Days 12 & 13: Riviera Maya
Leisure days to enjoy the beach.
All inclusive accommodation.
Day 14: Riviera Maya – Home
After breakfast, departure to take your flight back home.
Overnight on board.
