Day 1 DEPARTURE CITY – HANOI
Departure according to flights scheduled to Hanoi via another European city. Overnight on board.
Day 2 HANOI
Arrival at Hanoi airport and transfer to the hotel (1hour). Free afternoon in Hanoi to relax or to explore the city. Overnight in Hanoi.
Day 3 HANOI
After breakfast we will go for a city tour to Hanoi- the current capital of Vietnam, it is a unique city in Asia with its tree-lined avenues, its French colonial architecture and oriental temples. Our tour will include Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum (only outside), the house of Ho Chi Minh, the One Pillar Pagoda, Tran Quoc Pagoda, the Quan Thanh and Literature temple. Lunch at a local restaurant. After lunch, we will visit Ngoc Son Pagoda in the middle of Hoan Kiem Lake. At the end of the afternoon, we will see a traditional Water Puppet show at Thang Long Theatre. Overnight in Hanoi.
Day 4 HANOI – HALONG CRUISE
After breakfast we will drive to Halong Bay (3.30hrs-4hrs). Along the way, we will discover the rich lands of the Red River Delta and the scenery of rice fields. On arrival to Halong we will check in the Bay cruise. Lunch on board. After lunch we will stop to visit some caves and some floating villages. There we can swim in the emerald waters of Halong Bay (weather permitting). Dinner and overnight on board.
Day 5 HALONG – HANOI – DANANG – HOI AN
After breakfast we will be transfeered to Hanoi. On the way going we will stop at the temple Con Son – Nguyen Trai if time permits or we will have free time in the city before our transfer to the airport to board our domestic flight to Danang. On arrival, we will be transferred to Hoi An (30 minutes). Dinner at the hotel. Overnight in Hoi An.
Day 6 HOI AN
After breakfast, we will go for a city tour to Hoi An, a major trading port in the seventeenth and eighteenth centuries whose architecture and relaxed lifestyle have changed. There we will visit the old city center with old merchants houses, the Japanese Covered Bridge over 400 years and the colorful market. Lunch at a local restaurant. Free afternoon to explore Hoi An or to enjoy the beach. we can also go for a half day optional tour to visit the capital and religious center of the ancient kingdom of Champa, My Son. 40 km southwest of Hoi An, in a lush valley, are dozens of brick towers and sanctuaries dating back to a period between the 7th century and the 13th century. On the way back to Hoi An we will stop to visit Tra Kieu, formerly known as the Citadel of Leon, capital of Champa between the 4th and the 8th century. Accommodation in Hoi An.
Day 7 HOI AN – DANANG – HUE
Breakfast and Free time until the transfer to Hue. There we will go for an optional tour to the center of Hoi An where we will begin a bike ride to the local farm in the village of Tra Que. On arrival at the village, we will walk through the garden and will join with farmers to prepare and fertilize the garden with seaweed if they wish. After performing farm work, they will show us how to prepare the “tam huu”, a local delicacy that can try before returning to Hoi An. After that we will be transferred by road to Hue (approx. 3hrs). Arrival in Hue and dinner at the hotel. Overnight in Hue.
Day 8 HUE
After breakfast, we will walk by boat on the romantically named Perfume River to visit Hue’s most famous religious site, Thien Pagoda Mu. Also we will visit the Imperial Citadel where the Nguyen Dynasty ruled between 1802 and 1945 and the Dong Ba market . After exploring this wonderful monument travelers we will go for a tour in the Old Town cyclo to see Tinh Tam Lake where emperors used to come to relax. Lunch will be at a local restaurant. After lunch we will continue by road to the north of Hue to visit the elaborate mausoleums of emperors Tu Duc and Khai Dinh and Ho Quyen tigers sands. Overnight in Hue.
Day 9 HUE – HO CHI MINH CITY – TUNELES DE CU CHI
After breakfast, we will go to Phu Bai airport to board the flight to Ho Chi Minh City. On arrival in Ho Chi Minh city we will be transferred to visit the tunnels of Cu ChiEsta incredible network of tunnels. The tour can start at Ben Dinh Ben section or section Duoc. Lunch at a local restaurant. After kunch we will be transferred to Ho Chi Minh, there we will walk through the city center to discover on foot the Cathedral of Notre Dame (outside) and the post office and the Reunification Palace (from outside). After that we will go to the hotel. Accommodation in Ho Chi Minh City.
Day 10 HO CHI MINH CITY-BEN TRE (Mekong Delta) HO CHI MINH CITY
Breakfast at the hotel. Departure to the Mekong Delta. On arrival in the city of My Tho, we will embark on a local boat to head towards Ben Tre through the beautiful islands of the Dragon, Unicorn, Tortoise and Phoenix in the Tien river. There we will visit local sweets factories and we will ride Xe Loi (local transport) through the gardens of coconut and villages on the island. On the way we will stop to try some local fruits. After that we will go for a boat ride to discover the narrow covered channels Palm trees. Later we will return to My Tho through farms piscicultura. Lunch at a local restaurant and return to Ho Chi Minh city.Overnight in Ho Chi Minh City.
Day 11 HO CHI MINH – SIEM REAP
Breakfast at the hotel. Free time until our transfer to the airport to board our flight to Siem Reap. On arrival in Siem Reap we will be transferred to the hotel. After lunch we will enjoy a visit to Angkor National Museum, the modern museum which exhibits objects from the Golden Age of the Khmer Empire, using multimedia technology to represent this interesting historical period. Later we can go for an optional tour to visit Artisans d’Angkor. Artisan d’Angkor was established in 1992 to support the arts and crafts Cambodian, and to help young people to find work in their villages practicing traditional arts. Among the workshops that we can visit, are workshops wood and stone sculptures and work process with silk. Overnight in Siem Reap.
Day 12 SIEM REAP
Breakfast at the hotel. In the morning, we will be led by a professional guide to the big city of Angkor Tom. The visit will include the famous temples of Bayon, Baphuon, the Terrace of Elephants and Leper King Terrace. After that we will go the most famous Ta Prohm temple which was built in the middle of the twelfth century to the early thirteenth century. Lunch at a local restaurant. In the afternoon, we will go to Tuk-Tuk to visit the most famous and magnificent temple of Angkor Wat. This great piece of architecture was built in the twelfth century and covers an area of about 210 hectares. Overnight in Siem Reap.
Day 13 SIEM REP – HOME
Breakfast at the hotel. Embark on a typical boat on a very interesting Tonle Sap Lake, where we can have the opportunity to learn about the life of the lake cruise. Tonle Sap lake is Southeast Asia’s largest freshwater. There we will visit Chong Kneah, it is a very nice town. Lunch at a local restaurant. In the afternoon, free time until our transfer to the airport for your flight back home.
Day 14 HOME
Arrival home. End of our services.
