Day 1: Spain – Luxor

Departure on flights according to the schedule. Arrival in Luxor, assistance and transfer to the motorboat where we will take our Nile River cruise. Accommodation and dinner on board.

Day 2: Luxor – Esna – Edfu

Breakfast and then, at the scheduled time, departure to visit Luxor. We will visit: the Valley of the Kings, a UNESCO World Heritage Site that includes most of the tombs of the New Kingdom pharaohs. The Temple of Queen Hatshepsut, the first female pharaoh; the temple, located in Deir El Bahari, is one of the few built directly into the rock and consists of several terraces that served as vestibules for a multitude of people during religious festivals. The Colossi of Memnon, enormous statues of Pharaoh Amenhotep III that have remained seated for over 3,500 years. The Temple of Karnak, dedicated to the god Amun and the main place of worship in Egypt since the New Kingdom. It boasts a magnificent hypostyle hall 23 meters high with 134 columns and the Temple of Luxor, smaller than Karnak and connected by an impressive avenue of ram-headed sphinxes. Return to the motorboat, navigation and overnight on board. Full board.

Day 3: Edfu – Kom Ombo – Aswan

Buffet breakfast and then departure to visit the Temple of Edfu, dedicated to the falcon-headed god Horus. Located on the western bank of the Nile, it is one of the largest and best-preserved temples in Egypt. Its inscriptions provide valuable information about language, mythology, and religion during the Greco-Roman period. Return to the motorboat and continue sailing. Arrival in Kom Ombo and visit the unique temple dedicated simultaneously to two gods, Sobek with a crocodile head and Haroeris with a falcon head. Return to the motorboat, navigation and overnight on board. Full board.

Day 4: Aswan

Departure to visit the Temple of Abu Simbel. The temple of Abu Simbel, along with the temple of Nefertari, forms the Abu Simbel complex, commissioned by Pharaoh Ramses II. It is one of six rock temples in Nubia and had to be relocated from its original site after the construction of the Aswan High Dam. Return and then visit the Temple of Philae, dedicated to the goddess Isis and considered the jewel of the Nile. Return to the cruise and overnight on board. Full board.

Day 5: Aswan – Cairo

Breakfast. At the scheduled time, disembark and transfer to the airport for a flight to Cairo. Reception, transfer to the hotel. Accommodation at the hotel.

Day 6: Cairo

Breakfast. Departure for a full visit to the Pyramids of Giza. Our visit will include a panoramic view of the necropolis with a stop at each of the pyramids: Khufu, Khafre, and Menkaure. We will continue to the Valley Temple built by Pharaoh Khafre. Finally, we will visit the sacred guardian of the entire complex: the Great Sphinx. Optional: You can visit Memphis and Saqqara with lunch at a local restaurant. Memphis was the first capital of the Old Kingdom. Founded by Narmer, it is now an open-air museum where, among other works, we can see a monumental white limestone statue of Ramses II that originally measured 13 meters. We will continue the visit in the necropolis of Saqqara, which houses the most innovative and revolutionary tomb of the Old Kingdom, the step pyramid built by Pharaoh Djoser for the architect Imhotep. Return to the hotel. Accommodation and breakfast at the hotel.

Day 7: Cairo

Breakfast. Free day in Cairo with optional visits. Optional: You can take a full-day tour of the city with lunch at a local restaurant. Visit the Egyptian Museum of Ancient Egyptian Art, which houses many statues, paintings, reliefs, funerary objects, and other objects from the time of the Pharaohs. The tour then continues to the Coptic Quarter, the Mosque of Mohamed Ali, also known as the Alabaster Mosque, the Citadel of Salah El Din (Saladin), a UNESCO World Heritage Site, and the Grand Bazaar of Khan el Khalili, where you can stroll and shop or have tea or coffee in a popular Khan el Khalili cafe. Accommodation and breakfast at the hotel.

Day 8: Cairo – Spain

After breakfast, at the scheduled time, transfer to Cairo airport for your return flight. End of the trip and our services. We hope you had a wonderful and unforgettable experience.
