Day 1 DEPARTURE CITY – BANGKOK

Departure according to scheduled flights to Bankok. Overnight on board.

Day 2 BANGKOK

Arrival at Bangkok airport and transfer to the hhotel.  Rest of the day free at your disposal.

Day 3 BANGKOK -RIO KWAI

After breakfast we will go to Rio Kwai. On the way going we will stop in Kanchanaburi where the Bridge of the Second World War is. Later we will visit the museum and the war cemetery where the prisoners who lost their lives during the construction of the bridge. There we will go for a tour by boat on the River Kwai and the bridge, after that we will take the famous train of Death to station Tamkrase. This takes about 1 hour and a half tour will cross some beautiful landscapes testimony of an important part of history. Lunch at the peculiar Tamkrase station. Following the trip to the “Hellfire Pass”, a very curious because it is a mountain in the middle of the forest. Transfer to Resotel River Kwai for check in and free time to enjoy this unique resort, on the banks of the River Kwai. Accommodation.

Day 4 RIO KWAI – AYUTTHAYA – PHITSANULOK

After breakfast w will go to the archeological center of excellence in the country, Ayutthaya is the ancient capital of the kingdom of Siam. Ayutthaya is a remaining sample of the importance and the rich heritage of this country. After visiting Ayutthya we will go to a famous nearby temple known of the large number of monkeys found in. Following departure to Phitsanulok, it is a town in the heart of Thailand and considered as one of the most important centers of Buddhist pilgrimage in the country. During the trip we will witness the change in the landscape, turning this increasingly lush green jungle ahead and landscapes of the north. Lunch and transfer to Phitsanulok. Arrival to Phitsanulok and accommodation in a centrally located.

Day 5 PHITSANULOK -SUKHOTAI – CHIANG RAI

After breakfast we will go to Sukhotai. The star of this day is to visit the Archaeological Park Sukhotai, declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO for its incredible beauty. It shows prosperity of several centuries of the Thai civilization, lifting sophisticated monumental cities and temples. Later we will go to the city of Chiang Rai. Lunch will be on our way and we will stop on the shores of spectacular Lake Phayao. Arrival in Chiang Rai afternoon and check into the hotel, a luxurious resort on the banks of the Mae Kok River. Free time to rest and to enjoy a swim in the hotel pool or to visit the night market in the city. Accommodation.

Day 6 CHIANG RAI

After breakfast we will go to the famous “Golden Triangle”. There we will visit some tribes, Tribu “Akha” with their colorful costumes and tribe “Yao” with its characteristic way of life, and then to Mae Sai, a town on the border with Burma where we will find a curious product market Burmese and witness the continuous activity of goods and people in this border post. Lunch.After that we will go to the province of Chiang Sen whose capital of the same name was one of the most populated cities in the ancient Kingdom of Lanna. Later we will go to the “Golden Triangle” so named for being in the same point the border between Thailand, Burma and Laos, bordered by the three Mekong River, of great scenic and famous beauty opium trade. There we will visit the “Opium Museum”. Return to Chiang Rai for accommodation.

Day 7 CHIANG RAI – CHIANG MAI

After breakfast we will go to stop on the spectacular and contemporary White Temple or WatRongKunen ChiangRai outside, where white represents purity and Buddhist wisdom. After that we will visit the famous places that separate these two northern cities: Chiang Mai and Chiang Rai. There we will travel about 3 hours through unforgettable landscapes. Lunch on the way. Before we will reach Chiang Mai we will visit the popular street of crafts, where most typical northern decorative objects are manufactured. In the afternoon we will go to the well known Temple of Doi Suthep mountain. Arrival to Chia¡ng Mai. Accommodation.

Day 8 CHIANG MAI

After breakfast we will be transferred to the elephant camp, located in the jungle, to see how agile they are these great creatures to perform field work. After this small exhibition we will begin our safari on elephant back, crossing rivers and thick jungle vegetation. After the safari, we will make an exciting descent down the river on bamboo rafts and we will end up with a horse-drawn carriage pulled by buffalo that allow us to enjoy the northern jungle landscape. Lunch and visit orchid fields where we will witness the unique beauty of this beautiful floral species. Transfer to the hotel and free time. Accommodation.

Day 9 CHIANG MAI – BANGKOK

After breakfast we will be transferred to CHIANG MAI airport  to fly to Bangkok. Arrival and transfer to the hotel . Rest of the time free at your disposal. Accommodation.

Day 10 BANGKOK

After breakfast we will go for a half day tour to the city and its temples. In the tour we will see the main streets of Bangkok, Chinatown, and along the Chao Praya River to the Wat Pho, known for having one of the largest Buddha in the world (the reclining Buddha), and the Marble Temple . On our way back to the hotel  we will visit the factory state gemstone.
Rest of the day free at your disposal or to go for optional tours such as the Grand Palace, the Temple of the Emerald Buddha, Wat Phra Keo, the floating market etc.. Accommodation in Bankok.

Day 11 BANGKOK – HOME

Breakfast and transfer to the airport. Departure according to scheduled flights to Bankok. Arrival at Bankok airport. Change terminal and board flight to your home. Overnight on board.

Day 12 HOME

Arrival home and end of services.
